Side By Side

Side by Side is a space created just for parents and caregivers of children with special needs.

What's awesome about hosting this at WE ROCK THE SPECTRUM in Murfreesboro is all the kids have a safe place to play while the parents meet!

Together, in a therapist-guided conversation, we’ll talk honestly about moving toward healthy mindsets for:

• refueling the caregiver
• holding hope through the journey
• helping family “get it”—including how to navigate conversations with extended family who may not fully understand your child or your world. 

Parents will be invited to share as much or as little as they’re comfortable, knowing they’re surrounded by others walking a similar road.

Whether you come feeling tired, hopeful, overwhelmed, or all of the above, Side by Side is a reminder that you are not alone—and you don’t have to walk the journey by yourself.

Schedule:
- 6pm arrival
- quick pizza available for kids - (optional)
- 6:15pm Kids go play & Parents chat and continue to eat
- 7:50pm is the "5 more minutes"
- 8pm We out of there!
